Kumamoto Earthquake Recovery Support
The Kumamoto Earthquake of July 28, 2026 caused devastating damage across Kumamoto Prefecture and other parts of Kyushu. We offer our sincere condolences to those who lost their lives, and pray for the swift recovery of all those affected.
Our Recovery Support Initiative
JAPAN ROAD TRIP is connecting rentals across Japan to support Kumamoto's recovery.
During the campaign period, for every booking made — regardless of location or purpose — we will donate ¥1,000 to the Japanese Red Cross (2026 Kumamoto Earthquake Relief Fund).
No extra cost or special procedures are required from our customers. Simply use a campervan as you normally would, and your trip will help support Kumamoto's recovery.
We are also providing free vehicle loans to recovery support volunteers working on the ground.
We are committed to offering ongoing support with deep respect for the situation in the affected areas. Thank you for your warm cooperation.
Every regular rental automatically contributes to Kumamoto's recovery through a donation to relief funds.

Campervans serve as self-sufficient accommodation and activity bases, without placing any burden on local hotels or evacuation shelters. We offer free rentals to NPOs, corporate support teams, and individual disaster volunteers heading to Kumamoto. Vehicle numbers are limited — please contact us first.
